Do not sell or share my personal information
Your right, under California’s CCPA and CPRA and analogous state laws, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. And our plain-language answer to what we actually do.
1. The short answer
Spanda does not sell your personal information for money. Spanda does not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run retargeting pixels, we do not sync audiences to ad networks, and we do not sell your data to data brokers.
We do share a minimum set of data with named operational processors, described in the privacy policy, to deliver the service. Those processors are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
2. Your rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have equivalent rights. You also have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion of personal information, subject to statutory exceptions.
- Request a portable export of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Limit our use of sensitive personal information.
- Be free from retaliation for exercising any of these rights.
3. How to submit a request
Email privacy@spanda.services with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share Request” and include:
- The email address on your Spanda account, if you have one.
- The state you reside in.
- A brief description of the request (opt-out, access, deletion, correction, portability, or limit use of sensitive data).
We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, to protect you from impersonation. We answer most requests within thirty days and will tell you if we need longer, up to the maximum permitted by law.
You may also designate an authorized agent to submit the request on your behalf by providing written authorization.
4. Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You do not need to submit a separate request.
5. Analytics opt-out
Spanda does not currently run third-party analytics. If we add them, they will be optional, off by default, and you will be able to opt out at any time from the cookie banner or by emailing privacy@spanda.services.
